Web 2.0 Plays A Role In Elections Everywhere Now

We appear (according to news reports) to be on the precipice of entering the world of Web 3.0.  While we may not fully understand what that means, Web 2.0 is still interesting to follow when it comes to elections.

On Sunday the people of Mexico will go to the polls to choose a new President, the successor to Felipe Calderon.

The Wall Street Journal ran this story on Friday about young people in Mexico taking to social media to affect the vote.  The story is worth looking at.
